Lauren Bush Lauren, founder of Feed Projects, the impact-driven lifestyle brand, is partnering with Katie Kime, founder and chief executive officer of her eponymous Austin-based home and fashion brand to create limited-edition accessories.
The launch coincides with World Food Day on Wednesday, and every purchase will help provide 10 meals locally in New York City, through direct donations to the Food Bank for NYC.
The limited-edition FEED accessories will feature Kime’s signature New York City toile on Feed silhouettes — the Carryall Tote and the Medium Pouch. The tote retails for $92 and the pouch is $52.

In a Zoom interview, Kime said she became aware of Lauren right after she launched Feed and has one of her original bags. “So I was pretty aware of her from the get-go, and then we share mutual friends,” who brought them together, Kime said. They started working on the collaboration last spring.

Lauren said that Kime “is such a cool designer,” and she’s excited to use one of her new iconic prints. The print is New York City-themed, where Feed and Lauren are based. The tote bag is made of organic cotton, and the pouch is made of organic cotton with a recycled plastic wipeable interior.
Kime has been doing many of these prints highlighting cities such as Austin, Nashville, New York and Boston. She worked with an Austin-based artist who previously lived in New York and who selected all the landmarks and hand-drew them. The print features drawings such as the Statue of Liberty, the New York Public Library, the Guggenheim, a New York City taxicab, a pigeon and Central Park. The bags are light blue, navy blue and white. They will be sold on feedprojects.com, as well as Kime’s website.
“I thought blue was a classic, and who doesn’t like blue? But it’s also the Yankees, so it feels very New York to me,” Lauren said.
Lauren said the carryall is quite big and has a lot of capacity. “The print on the bag is a little larger, and then we kind of scaled it back to fit nicely on the pouch,” she said.

Kime said they have used the New York City print on wallpaper and pajamas.
The two of them are hosting a breakfast for friends and influencers at The Carlyle in New York on World Food Day to kick off the partnership, which will also be promoted on social media, and Feed’s website and newsletter.
“It’s just a fun way for Feed to add a bit of interest and new kind of design to our products, which generally have been more earth tone and solids,” Lauren said. She said they’ve done some artisan woven patterns and prints, but haven’t done graphics, or anything like this before.
